Insulation Inspection
Regain control over insulation condition and CUI risk.
Technical insulation inspection is the fastest way to understand where corrosion risk is developing and where insulation systems are no longer protecting the asset.
TOMBER delivers targeted insulation inspections that focus specifically on
failure mechanisms that drive corrosion, rather than generic condition
reporting.
Our inspection services combine structured visual inspection with infrared
thermography, allowing us to assess both visible defects and hidden insulation
failures on operating assets.
Visual inspection focuses on insulation and cladding integrity, sealing quality,
mechanical damage, and insulation detailing at typical CUI-prone locations such
as supports, penetrations, flanges, and terminations. Insulation design is
assessed against actual operating temperatures, process conditions, and
environmental exposure to identify inherent weaknesses.
Thermographic inspection adds a non-intrusive, data-driven layer by identifying thermal anomalies associated with wet insulation, missing insulation, insulation
compression, or abnormal heat loss. This allows early detection of insulation
degradation without removing cladding or interrupting production.
The result is clear, actionable insight that enables asset owners to target
interventions, reduce unnecessary intrusive inspections, and regain control
over your insulation system and reduce CUI risks.
